Office Corporate Chair Massage to Reduce Back Pain

Techniques for relieving abdominal imbalances:

  1. Eliminate waste and tone intestinal muscles by applying circular Pressure Point Massage to the entire abdomen in a clockwise direction, using the heel of your hand instead of your thumb. Caution: If there is acute pain, a suspected pregnancy, or any organ malfunction, do not use this technique or any other form of deep pressure.
  2. Relieve gas pains and menstrual cramps by performing Muscle Rock on the abdomen.
  3. Release blockages by applying light Rhythmic Pressure on the points two inches on either side of the navel. Follow with medium Circular Pressure Point on the lower back, directly behind the navel.
  4. Release and soothe repressed emotions by doing relaxation and deep breathing exercises.
  5. Increase bowel regularity by increasing fiber content and decreasing refined foods in your diet. Also apply gentle Vital Force Contact one inch below the navel. Apply pressure three times for fifteen seconds each time.
  6. Strengthen abdominal muscles by doing posturally balanced sit ups. Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. With your hands locked at the base of your head, lift your trunk until the elbows touch your knees.  Hold for the count of six.  Slowly lower your back to the floor, one vertebra at a time.  Repeat six times.

THE LEGS (HIPS, THIGHS, KNEES, AND CALVES)

Signs of imbalance in the legs:

  • Tightness in front or back of thighs.
  • Locked knee joint.
  • Pain in lower back.
  • Very bulky, muscular thighs.
  • Difficulty bending knee.
  • Pelvic area protrudes forward.
  • Knock knees or bow legs
  • Chronic pain in calf or thigh muscles.
  • Inability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Walking with a limp when there is no medical reason.
  • Stiffness in hip joints, particularly after sitting for a period of time.
  • Difficulty kneeling or sitting “Japanese style”, with legs folded under the body.
  • Pain in knee. If pain is on the outside of the knee, the primary imbalance is on the inside of the thigh and shin.  If the pain is on the back of the knee, the primary imbalance is probably in the calf muscles and the hamstring.
